Last week, there was no weekly drawing, and for good reason: none of us was able to draw. While AdeA is still working on her comic, me, Técé, was immersed in 3 stories that were taking over my head, preventing me from being reasonably concentrated to draw.

The “3 files”, as I call them, are, firstly, our dealings with the notary, which were going nowhere at the time. Secondly, money owed to me, a debt I’m obsessed with. And thirdly, a move that was going nowhere. All 3 cases are directly linked to “Les 9 Nekotakus”, our manga café project!

In any case, things are looking up, and that’s what counts. The drawing represents me in a somewhat caricatured way, with as many pairs of hands as there are “files”.

And here’s Madame Télé, the personification of French television. You’ll notice a precarious state of health, with pale skin and infusions on all sides. Infusions of money, naturally. The one with the Euro symbol represents the public money used to keep state television afloat. An infusion also represented by Madame Télé’s vampire teeth. The infusion marked “ESG”, on the other hand, is a direct reference to the ESG score, symbolizing the money of a section of private interests, committed to the noxious ideology of investment funds like BlackRock.

A little anecdote: initially, the image on the TV was to show an extract from an advert for an alarm system, an advert known for its propagandistic side. But after some thought, it was decided that an image referencing the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games would be more appropriate, as it fits in with both the “public money” and “ESG score” symbolism. 😉

July was definitely a month of non-Nuibie drawings for me! After making the return of Zouèbetévé, the Marianne qui rit, the drawing for Alfoxbot, I also did a drawing for a certain Dank-Artistic-Fox, who defines itself as a “NSFW furry artist”, i.e. an artist who makes erotic drawings of anthropomorphic animals.

The rule being give-and-take, Dank-Artistic-Fox has also drawn a picture, but as his drawing is justly erotic, it won’t be shown on this site, which is intended for the general public. As for my drawing, it exists in two versions: the original, where the characters are naked, and the censored version, where the characters are dressed. The original version, like the drawing of Dank-Artistic-Fox, will not be shown on this site, for the same reasons 😉

This drawing remains, to this day, my only rather tendentious drawing. And what’s more, with characters that aren’t mine. But the recipient of the drawing, the creator of the two characters shown, was very happy, and that’s the main thing. 🙂
