“Nuibie College: Welcome to Nievicila!” is fully published!

This is it! After many delays, Nuibie College: Welcome to Nievicila! is now fully published on the Internet, whether on this site, on Mangadraft or on Webtoon! For information, this comic, originally published in July 2022 in our fanzine, was released in a hurry at the time, and we decided to make the necessary changes to bring it (as far as possible) into line with the quality level of Nuibie College: A bad back-to-school (the following comic). That’s why putting it online wasn’t an easy task: each page had to be reworked individually, and this explains (in part) the delays in publishing the last few pages.

That said, the extra work doesn’t explain all the delay. As those of you who have been following us for a while already know, we’ve been working on a professional project for months now, and as it’s getting closer and closer to becoming a reality, it’s taking up more and more time! And when things didn’t go as we wanted, it had a negative impact on the “reworking” of Nuibie College: Welcome to Nievicila! In fact, it was to avoid having too many things to do that the weekly drawings were suspended at the end of February, as you may have noticed. That said, as of next week, we’ll be resuming the weekly drawings as before!

As for the publication of the next comic on this site, on Mangadraft and on Webtoon, it won’t happen before the end of the year, at least, but we’ll soon be creating an English-language version of this comic in order to publish it on our Patreon as well as on the “premium” section of Técé’s DeviantArt, so that the most impatient can read it ahead of time 😉

Lore Nuibie – Basile and Louise

The day we publish this drawing is Valentine’s Day, and what better way to celebrate the day of lovers than by showing the first couple explicitly visible in the pages of Nimatek? 🙂

Remember the previous drawing showing Basile Citrus? He seemed lost in thought, thinking hard about something… or someone! Well, that “someone” was Louise Deladiva, a young Hursian girl in Cassandra Kalabrio‘s class, and her roommate!

Today’s drawing shows Basile and Louise exchanging glances that mix tenderness and shyness, against the backdrop of an unpretentious little love story between the two schoolmates that they are!

Fruit Salad – Sinister Elderberry

After Tomato Head, we continue the “Fruit Salad” series with a new protagonist, Sinister Elderberry, who, as you might expect, is made of elderberry!

Sinister Elderberry likes to wear clothes as dark as his body. He’s a self-proclaimed “Master of Drawing”, because he’s convinced he’s the only salad fruit capable of coordinating all the fruits that can draw.

Unfortunately, in reality, everyone laughs at Sinister Elderberry, not least because he’s far from being the genius he claims to be, he hasn’t evolved much since his early days, and in the end, all he has are his few loyal lackeys to keep following him, and, from time to time, offer him a few services…
